Household polystyrene up to one cubic metre in size can be dropped off at Palmerston North City Council’s Ferguson Street Recycling Centre, supporting our commitment to community-wide recycling initiatives.
Our polystyrene recycling services extend to Councils, waste and recycling companies, retailers, and businesses across the lower North Island in New Zealand.
We accept large loads of polystyrene in bulk bags, making it convenient for commercial entities to participate in our recycling program. For Palmerston North businesses, we offer on-site collections, further facilitating polystyrene recycling in the local area.
Acceptable materials for our polystyrene recycling process include clean, dry, white and coloured (not black) polystyrene. To ensure efficient recycling, the polystyrene must be free from dirt, glue, metal, or liquids, with all tape and cardboard removed.
