Electronic Recycling NZ: Polystyrene recycling and Asset Recovery

E-Cycle Limited, a proudly New Zealand owned and operated company, offers comprehensive e-waste management solutions designed to protect our environment.

We specialise in the responsible, eco-friendly recycling of end-of-life electronic products, handling nearly anything with a plug or batteries, as well as polystyrene and packaging materials. E-Cycle is proud to celebrate over 10 years of providing innovative e-waste solutions, helping businesses across New Zealand manage their electronic waste responsibly and efficiently.

Our services encompass the entire e-waste lifecycle, from collection and secure data destruction to recycling and detailed reporting. We accept a wide range of items, including computers, appliances and mobile devices, ensuring proper disposal and recycling of all types of electronic waste.

Our process begins with convenient collection options for businesses or on-site drop-offs at our 25 partner drop off sites across New Zealand. We then transport these items to our recycling facilities in Auckland, Palmerston North, and Christchurch, where they are counted, weighed, recorded and then dismantled. Components are then sorted into component and commodity categories and sent to reputable local and international specialist recyclers for raw material recovery or reuse in new products, including precious metal extraction and safe management of hazardous substances.

Data security is a top priority at E-Cycle. We offer certified software-based data erasure for hard drives, storage devices, tablets, and cell phones, as well as physical destruction. This commitment to data integrity ensures that your sensitive information remains protected throughout the recycling process.

As pioneers in New Zealand’s evolving e-waste industry, we adhere to international standards, complying with the Basel and Stockholm Conventions for responsible waste management. By choosing E-Cycle, you’re not only ensuring the proper disposal of your electronic waste but also contributing to a more sustainable future for New Zealand.
